In honor of Jayson’s birthday, here’s an awesome highlight from his 32nd. :)
As Jayson Werth stepped up to bat, there was a collective groan from the media experts who had seen the Phillies pitching around Harper to get to him. It seemed to be working well enough, because Jayson kept winding up in 2-out, RISP situations and not converting them. That must have lulled Worley into some kind of complacency, because Werth broke out his real bat.
